As a national centre of excellence, the RNOH treats patients from across both the UK and abroad, many of whom have been referred by other hospital consultants for second opinions or for treatment of complex or rare conditions.
All patients benefit from a team of highly specialised consultants, many of whom are nationally and internationally recognised for their expertise and experience.
The Private Patient Unit of the RNOH has 18 beds located on two wards and by choosing to have your treatment as a private patient within an NHS hospital, you are assured of a comprehensive range of orthopaedic services on-site. There will always be a doctor who can see you in an emergency, with support from orthopaedic-trained nursing and therapies staff. The hospital has a team of senior specialist nurses, access to ITU and a high dependency unit.
We also have 3 private rooms based on our children’s unit, so any young patients will be looked after in an environment totally suited to their needs.
Profit generated by our private patients income is invested back into the RNOH to assist in supporting the services, facilities and improvements provided to everyone that works for and comes to the hospital.
